Just got off the phone with MindFunk and we had a good long conversation.

He's fighting hard to find the help he needs using resources that he and we at Radical Life Institute tribe have found. Trish is helping with the fight too. Let's all take a deep breath and offer the encouragement they need as they battle what they are up against.

I'm satisfied that he is safe in the moment and probably for some time to come. I have to believe that it was my hypersensitivity to a suicide siren call that encouraged me to act. Mindfunk is not at that point quite yet.

But I have to say the system is being obstructive to him getting the help he needs. Hopefully some of these resources will pan out for them in the near future. I believe the steps they are taking are highly constructive and eventually will result in some assistance.

As for basic needs, they seem to be okay for the moment although a looming deadline persists of no housing at the beginning of November. This is a ways off but the housing lists are years long in Portland. Anyone who knows of an assisted housing situation which is accessible, this would be a huge relief for Mindfunk and Trish.

Private messages, phone calls and personal visits are being promised and experienced by Mindfunk and Trish right now as a result of this call to action. Please keep them up in the days and weeks ahead. The help they need is not readily available and time will grind down their spirits, in my opinion, Mindfunk is grateful for our love and support.
