Re: BurnOut 09 Gate
Fri, October 2, 2009 - 11:41 AMI tried emailing you, Mel, but your address bounced.
Shifts are 2 hours long, you can see what is available (and sign yourself up) by following this link:
tinyurl.com/yarwxn3
The differentiation I draw between Gate staff and, say, Greeters is that we are not OBLIGATED to hug. I hug my friends all the time, but never feel obliged to hug every patchouli-soaked raver who walks through the door.
hee hee hee
Hope you can lend us a hand - we have a lot of fun, actually, doing a very important job. -

Re: BurnOut 09 Gate
Fri, October 2, 2009 - 12:37 PMI greeted the last two years on the Playa and had a blast! It was amazing, some of the best experiences I've had out there, even during the whiteouts.
I never felt obliged to hug anyone but was bummed that we couldn't spank anymore.
Don't knock it till you try it (or at least not til you try it with the Devil, rockin' the fresh tunes with an ice cold cocktail in hand.)
PS, Elaine~ You can beat me off any time, I'll bring the KY, you bring the Playa dust for friction baby!
Flame on!

If your fingers don't smell funny afterwards, how can you know you shared the Love(tm)? -

Re: BurnOut 09 Gate
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 10:03 AMThere is always the Inappropriately Long™ hug. Or the Offensive Moan™ hug. And the Finger Up The Butt™ hug, which is - I believe - Rob's favorite. -

Re: BurnOut 09 Gate
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 11:45 AMWhat about the "What's That White Sticky Crap On My Leg?" naked hippy hug? -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
