Awesome personal shelter for burning man. We spent all summer building a bunch of these last year for the Black Rock Boutique.
They are 16ft diameter and roughly 6' tall. enough room to stand in. they were pretty much bullet proof- withstood the huge windstorms without moving an inch. excellent at keeping the dust down, stayed super warm at night and pretty cool in the day. These literally fold up like and accordian. Sets up in just a few minutes with several people (+plus rebar pounding time for the guy lines). You will need a big vehicle (truck trailer or uhaul) as it is a bit large.

We spent roughly $400 in materials making each one, plus an enormous amount of time. these were build right and are awesome for the playa. Edges need some repair work, so we ordered the correct tape and will be doing that in a few weeks.
